Jim & Barbara Choury

Jim and Barbara Choury are Colorado natives and both graduated from Denver Seminary. They served with WorldVenture for 28 years working in the areas of evangelism, church planting and leadership training in Argentina and North Brazil. Jim taught apologetics during nine years in Brazil and did numerous workshops on evangelism from a sower’s perspective among the churches there. Jim’s passion is engaging people on a worldview level, discovering their beliefs and then gently guiding them to a fuller understanding of the truth so that they may come to Christ through repentance and faith. Jim believes that Christianity is intellectually defensible and that people encouraged and equipped to think will be better able to understand and accept the Gospel. Jim encourages Christians to know and live Christian doctrine and to use areas like philosophy, science, history, law, logic and literature in order to find a beginning point for guiding the unbeliever to a fuller understanding of truth in order to eventually win them to Christ.

Carolee Denning
carolee@usfamily.net
As a new believer in Christ in her college years, Carolee was zealous for knowledge of God’s Word and was open to any Bible study offered. She was soon surrounded by cults and false teaching, and in confusion called out to the Lord for truth. He answered and led her to a Bible study and later to seminary (Talbot) where she received a firm foundation in the truth of God’s Word. From her early days as a believer, Carolee had a desire to share with others her new life in Christ. In 2000 she joined Caleb Project, an organization focused on the completion of the Great Commission among peoples of the world still unreached by the Good News of Christ. As she spent time in China doing research among Tibetan Buddhists, her vision for evangelistic outreach to Buddhists grew. She later joined OMF International, an organization that has worked among the Buddhists of East Asia since 1865. During her years in Buddhist ministry, Carolee has seen the exponential growth of Buddhism in the West (both directly and indirectly through New Age/ the new spirituality) - eastern-influenced spirituality now even working its way into the church. Carolee joined Haven ministries with the desire to reach out to both westerners and non-westerners caught in spiritual deception that leads to eternal destruction, bringing them hope of eternal life in Christ Jesus.
Education: Talbot School of Theology - Biblical Studies-New Testament & Missions; Denver Seminary - Missions; Wycliffe Bible Translators - Linguistics

Jonathan and Carrie Jolly
chickenetti@yahoo.com
Jonathan and Carrie are evangelists who have a heart for people effected by cults. They met on 16th Street Mall while sharing the Gospel, the two have been involved in local outreaches as well as serving in their home church, Calvary Chapel Aurora, by teaching evangelism and apologetics.
Jonathan grew up in the Church of Christ, who believe they are the only true Christians. Carrie grew up in the United Methodist church, where she was taught that all people are generally good, and to be skeptical of the Bible as a literal source of truth. God led both of them to the truth of the Gospel, convicting them of sin and showing them the grace that comes through the work of Christ alone. With such varied backgrounds, they have been able to minister to a variety of different people.
Currently they are working on a website project called EuroKarma (eurokarma.com), as well as gospel tracts tailored to specific types of people. Jonathan teaches evangelism classes and joins groups witnessing on 16th Street Mall with friends. Carrie has taken time off from ministry to Junior High kids in order to take care of their son, Max.

Leonard and Grace Dominguez
leonardgraced@aol.com
Leonard Dominguez has been involved with outreach to those in cults as well as those who have been affected by cults for over 16 years. He has helped with security for the cult conferences where he was involved with identifying outside groups trying to infiltrate the conferences. After observing the destruction of families and individuals who were caught up in cults, Leonard and his brother-in-law Mark Roggeman founded Jude Ministries (Jesus Uniting Disciples in Evangelism).
The purpose of Jude Ministries was to help the families of those caught up in cults, reach out to the lost, and to edify and equip the saints. In his earlier days as a believer Leonard ran a coffee shop called the Catacombs coffee house, the purpose of which was to minister to the homeless in the inner city. As an evangelist he coaches believers on how to share their faith, as well as how to defend it. He has worked with Bill Fay on “How to Share Jesus Without Fear”.
He currently mentors new believers in their faith in Jesus. Leonard lives in Lakewood, Colorado, with his wife Grace and daughter Esther.
